The Office of the ||Kharas Governor collaborated with the University of Namibia’s Centre of Research Services to conduct a training session focused on cultivating oyster mushrooms. Thirteen women participated in the session led by UNAM researcher ,Fimanekeni Shivute. This initiative is part of a broader integrated agriculture project that includes rice, mushrooms, and vegetables. The overall goal of the project is to promote sustainable farming practices where different crops complement each other’s growth, offering economic opportunities and nutritional benefits to the community.
