2024 is a bumper year for elections, even in Namibia, affecting around two billion voters. However, elections don’t necessarily equate to democracy, and the extent to which they affect the way a country is run, and by whom, can vary dramatically, depending on where they’re held. The UN Envoy on Technology, Amandeep Singh Gill explains the influence tech and Artificial Intelligence has on elections.
