Namibia will host the third annual Nala Feminist Collection summit on 1 July, themed ‘Women’s Right to Lead’. Approved by the Cabinet in May 2024, the summit aims to enhance feminist leadership across Africa. Noella Ngunyam, Nalafem’s Head of Communications, highlighted Namibia’s gender-positive stance and the importance of connecting policymakers with communities. The event will also emphasize intergenerational accountability among women and launch a project to support digital access for 100 young Namibian girls. Minister Emma Theofelus affirmed Namibia’s dedication to gender equality and women’s leadership.
