Crime Spree Of The Weekend Includes Break-ins, Theft, and Fatal Stabbing

On Friday Groot-Aub and Wanaheda were sites of multiple criminal incidents. In Groot-Aub, a generator valued at N$11,995.00 was stolen from a shack at Uiros. Meanwhile, in Wanaheda’s Outapi Street, thieves made off with clothes, a gas cylinder, shoes, blankets, and cosmetics worth N$17,000.99 from a residence. In a tragic turn in Wanaheda’s Goreangab area, Bigshow Gawaseb was fatally stabbed by a 24-year-old suspect, who sustained injuries and is now hospitalized under police guard. Additionally, in Katima Mulilo, two Zambian males were apprehended for stealing and slaughtering cattle from quarantine. Ongoing police investigations are underway for all incidents.
