National Unity Democratic Organisation to Hold Long-Awaited Congress This Weekend in Windhoek

The National Unity Democratic Organisation will host its long-anticipated congress at the Ramatex Centre in Windhoek on July 13-14, 2024. The two-day event will see the election of a new executive team, including the positions of president and secretary-general, as current leaders  Utjiua Muinjangue and Joseph Kauandenge are not seeking re-election. Candidates for the presidency include Vetaruhe Kandorozu, Peter Kazongominja, and Joseph Uaraa Uapingene. Kauandenge confirmed that preparations are complete, with about 500 delegates expected to attend and all positions open for nomination directly from the floor.
