The Erongo Regional Council has denied allegations circulating on social media that expired tins of fish intended for drought relief were discarded. Senior Public Relations Officer, Susan ||Hoebes clarified that the fish in question, set to expire in 2026, were damaged during handling and deemed unfit for consumption as a precautionary measure against contamination.
