Health Ministry strengthens genomic surveillance

The Ministry of Health and Social Services, supported by the Robert Koch Institute, is hosting a two-day workshop titled ‘Strengthening Integrated Genomic Surveillance through greater capacities in national public institutes. The workshop, according to the Health Ministry’s Executive Director, Ben Nangombe, will identify opportunities, needs, and challenges for the implementation of integrated genomic surveillance into the public health system in the country.
