Information and Communication Technology minister, Emma Theofelus, highlighted poverty, unemployment, and the high cost of living as pressing contemporary challenges. Speaking at a retreat for senior leaders of key government institutions, she emphasized the need for strategic approaches to address these issues. Theofelus urged leveraging bilateral relations to bring in new technologies, foster international collaborations, and ensure the ICT sector remains at the forefront of innovation and development. She also stressed the importance of resource sharing and efficiency to maximize impact while conserving scarce resources.
