ECN Confident in High Voter Turnout as Registration Deadline Approaches

The Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) is confident that Namibians who are eligible to vote will turn up in numbers before registration closes in 20-days’ time.
Between the 3rd of June and the 6th of July 2024, the ECN has registered 823,761 voters inside the country and at all Namibian Diplomatic Missions abroad.
This figure represents an average of 24,562 registered voters per day between the 1st and the 6th of July 2024.
The Namibia Statistics Agency says there are 1,731,790 eligible voters.
