Multiple Arrests and Investigations Following Theft Incidents Across The Country

Background

Three men will appear in the Mariental Magistrate’s Court on Monday for stock theft involving livestock worth N$12,000. In Walvis Bay, two men face charges of housebreaking and motor vehicle theft after stealing items valued at over 144 thousand from T&M Machine Tools, with the stolen items recovered. Additionally, police are investigating a theft from a motor vehicle also in Walvis Bay, where items worth close to 563 thousand were stolen between Thursday night and Friday morning. In Nkurenkuru, suspects broke into Law’s Pub shebeen on Friday night, stealing items valued at N$16,000; no arrests have been made, and investigations continue.
