Roads Authority Announces Temporary Closure for Blasting Operations on Windhoek-Rehoboth Road Tomorrow

The Roads Authority has issued a notice to all road users regarding scheduled blasting operations on the Windhoek-Rehoboth Road.

Blasting activities will commence tomorrow, on 16 July 2024, at 14:00 PM,  approximately one kilometre from the Police Road Block.

The blasting is expected to last for about one hour, resulting in the closure of this section from 14:00 to 15:00.

Motorists are advised to take note of this temporary closure and make necessary adjustments to their travel plans accordingly.

The Roads Authority regrets any inconvenience that may arise from this closure and appreciates the public’s understanding and cooperation.
