Cabinet Secretary Urges Public Service Officers to Focus on Implementing Government Policies

Cabinet Secretary, George Simataa has called on accounting officers and public service implementers to prioritize the implementation of government policies, plans, and projects. Addressing chief regional officers from all 14 regions during an engagement meeting hosted by the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology in the Oshikoto Region, Simataa stressed that their role is to advise and assist in policy formulation rather than creating policies. He highlighted the importance of a strong, effective relationship between political and administrative heads for successful policy development and management, emphasizing the need for appropriate attitudes, mindsets, and functional behavior in executing their duties.
