President, Nangolo Mbumba has called on international organizations to shift their focus from merely providing advice to offering tangible resources that address real-world challenges. During a visit by UNDP resident representative, Alka Bhatia to State House, Mbumba emphasized the need for international bodies to collaborate in solving problems that people can directly benefit from. He criticized the tendency to offer only advisory support and soft loans, stressing the need for concrete assistance. Bhatia affirmed UNDP’s commitment to hands-on support, announcing plans to invest approximately N$727 million (US$40 million) in Namibia over the next five years.
