Local Business and Economics Researcher , Josef Sheehama predicts the U.S Federal Reserve will cut interest rates by 0.25 basis points in September, citing cooling inflation and a softening job market. Despite objections from presidential candidate Donald Trump, Sheehama remains confident that the rate cut will proceed, driven by positive economic indicators and the Fed’s commitment to achieving a 2% inflation target.
