Hamas says assassination of its leader ‘won’t go unpunished’

In a move that is expected to significantly ramp up regional tensions, Hamas says its political leader Ismail Haniyeh was assassinated in Iran. Israel is yet to comment but Hamas called Haniyeh’s death a ‘cowardly act that will not go unpunished’. Our Asia correspondent Neha Poonia has more.
