NamPol Hunts for Armed Robbers After Otjiwarongo Fuel Station Heist

Background

The Namibian Police Force in Otjozondjupa Region is conducting an intense manhunt for five suspects involved in an armed robbery at a fuel station in Otjiwarongo. The incident occurred on Monday between 06 and 06h30 pm, where the robbers, armed with a pistol, machete, and axe, stole over N$246,000. They forced the manager to open the safe and fled on foot. Senior Inspector Maureen Mbeha confirmed that the suspects are still at large, and police investigations are ongoing.
