Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates have agreed to resume travel between the two countries, announced Nigeria's information minister on Monday according to Reuters. The UAE halted visa issuance to Nigerians in 2022 when Emirates Airline suspended flights, citing challenges in repatriating funds from Nigeria. Nigeria's central bank has since resolved a backlog of approximately $137 million in foreign exchange owed to international airlines.
