Ambrosius Kumbwa Elected President of All People’s Party

Background

The All People’s Party elected Ambrosius Kumbwa as its President for a five-year term during a three-day national congress held in Rundu over the weekend. The congress, which started on Friday and concluded on Sunday, also saw Linus Mutjila elected as vice president, Faustinus Wakudumo as national chairperson, and Christiana //Gowases as deputy chairperson. Marius !Goraseb assumed the position of secretary general, with Anastasia Mbathera as vice secretary general. In his acceptance speech, Kumbwa expressed gratitude for the support of party members and emphasized unity and progress for the APP’s future.
