Governor Pijoo Nganate to Deliver Omaheke Region’s State of the Region Address

Background

The Governor of Omaheke Region, Pijoo Nganate, is set to deliver the State of the Region Address on August 19. The address, which will take place at Ben van der Walt Primary School Hall in Gobabis, is a constitutional requirement under Article 110A (Sub-Articles 5 and 6). Governor Nganate will provide an update on the status of the region, discuss the previous year’s planned activities by the central government in Omaheke, and respond to questions from the Regional Council.
