Nampol reports Multiple Incidents Across The Country on 16 August

Background

On Friday, multiple incidents occurred across Namibia. In Aussenkehr, an unlicensed ambulance driver lost control of a Ministry of Health & Social Services vehicle, causing it to overturn, though no injuries were reported. Near Karibib, a Toyota pick-up overturned on the C-33 road, injuring both occupants, who were taken to Usakos State Hospital. In Ongenga, a 31-year-old man allegedly killed a 3-year-old girl and seriously injured his 6-year-old nephew, with police suspecting mental health issues as a factor. Investigations into all three incidents are ongoing.
