The UN Security Council on Wednesday heard that violence cost the world nearly 20 trillion dollars last year. The United Nations says that is 13.5 percent of global GDP. At a special high-level session of the council, Sierra Leone’s Foreign Minister called on members to do more to prevent ever increasing conflicts around the world. Jody Jacobs reports for us from the United Nations in New York.
