With the ruling party’s upcoming electoral college and other parties preparing their candidate lists, Baumann emphasized the importance of democratic and open nomination processes. She urged parties to consider candidates’ commitment to human rights, social justice, and the representation of marginalized communities, including those with disabilities, minorities, and other vulnerable groups.
