Russia has launched another wave of strikes on Ukraine a day after one of its biggest air attacks of the war. According to the BBC, at least four people were killed overnight and Ukraine’s air defence forces say the entire country is under threat of a ballistic weapon attack. On Monday, seven people were killed and dozens more were injured after more than half of Ukraine’s regions were attacked by drones and missiles.
According to Al Jazeera, regional officials reported on Tuesday that two people were killed when a missile destroyed a hotel in Kryvyi Rih. Additionally, three individuals lost their lives in drone strikes on Zaporizhzhia. On Monday, Russia targeted Ukrainian energy infrastructure with over 200 missiles and drones. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded by pledging retaliation and urging allies to consider joint air defense measures and long-range weapon support.
