Namibia, SA team up to promote film production

Background

The Namibia Film Commission has announced a new partnership with the South African non-profit organisation, Sisters Working in Film and Television. This collaboration will offer platforms that will support and promote local film production, and encourage the growth and development of the creative sector. SWIFT founder, Tutu Mungoba.

 

 

Founded in 2016, SWIFT has been at the forefront of promoting equality in the historically
male-dominated film industry. The organization offers women in film and television the
opportunity to promote each other, network, and collaborate on various projects. Additionally, SWIFT plays a vital role in highlighting opportunities available to women in
the industry and celebrating their achievements.
