Small Livestock Sector Sees 44.9% Drop in Exports for Q2 2024

The small livestock subsector experienced a sharp 44.9% drop in the number of animals marketed to export-approved abattoirs and butchers during Q2 2024, according to the Namibia Statistics Agency. This decline in exports led to a slight contraction in the sector, contrasting with the growth recorded in the same period of 2023. Ipumbu Sakaria from the agency.
