Ramaphosa Highlights Job Creation, Economic Growth, and Crime Reduction Under ANC-Led Government

Background

ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa says the ANC-led government of national unity has been all about creating jobs, growing the economy, and tackling crime in communities. He provided a comprehensive reflection of the first 100 days since the formation of the government of national unity in Gauteng yesterday evening. Ramaphosa says under the coalition government, the ANC will continue to lead the transformation of South Africa:

Meanwhile, Gauteng ANC chairperson Panyaza Lesufi has warned against individuals seeking to undermine the leadership of the movement. ANC secretary-general Fikile Mbalula and Lesufi have been at loggerheads over the government of national unity. He has also been at odds with DA federal council chairperson Helen Zille, who has labelled him rogue and the stumbling block to an ANC/DA coalition in Gauteng. Speaking at the ANC’s celebration event of the 100 days of the government of national unity, Lesufi says the ANC leadership must be respected:
