Mozambican Opposition Lawyer and Official Killed in Maputo Attack

Elvino Dias, the lawyer for prominent Mozambican opposition figure Venâncio Mondlane, and Podemos party official Paulo Guambe were shot dead in Maputo. BBC Africa indicates that the two were attacked by gunmen while traveling in their car. Dias had represented Mondlane, who ran for president with Podemos in an election 10 days prior.
