Police Weekend Crime Report Shows Alcohol-Related Collision and Cocaine Dealing Arrests

Background

On Friday, the Namibian Police Force reported two incidents. In Omuthiya, an unlicensed driver of an Isuzu single cab pick-up collided with a parked Toyota Hilux Legend 50 at Cross Town Park, causing damage but no injuries. The driver, who was alone and tested positive for alcohol was arrested and will appear in court on today. Meanwhile, in Swakopmund, a 24-year-old Congolese man was arrested on Sam Nujoma Avenue after being caught dealing cocaine valued at N$ 1,000.
