Windhoek hosts disaster risk reduction conference 

The 9th Africa Regional Platform and 8th High-Level Meeting on Disaster Risk Reduction will be held from 22 to 24 October. As Africa faces ongoing droughts, severe flooding, and cyclones, policymakers, and disaster experts will meet in Windhoek to address these issues.
