Israel’s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and US Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken have discussed “the need to capitalize on” the killing of the Hamas leader, Yahya Sinwar. During Tuesday’s meeting in Israel Blinken also emphasised the need to get more aid into Gaza according to the State Department. Here’s our Kate Fisher reporting from Washington:
