A truck involved in a fatal multi-vehicle accident on Auas Road, Windhoek, has been removed. The accident, caused by alleged brake failure, resulted in the truck plowing through traffic, striking six vehicles before stopping near the truck port. At least two persons lost their lives, and several others were injured. The Namibian Police are investigating the incident and will release a report once completed. Authorities urge regular maintenance of vehicles, particularly heavy-duty ones.
