Opposition pressures Botswana Electoral Commission on voter’s roll

Opposition parties in Botswana are putting pressure on the country’s electoral commission. With the country heading to elections on 30 October, the Botswana Congress Party is suing the Independent Electoral Commission over concerns about individuals registering in multiple constituencies. Party president Dumelang Saleshando wants these names removed from the voters’ roll.
