Kamala Harris has framed Donald Trump as a threat to democracy in a major speech in the heart of the nation’s capital. On Tuesday night, the US Vice-President delivered her ‘closing argument’ to voters at the Ellipse, a site next to the White House where then President Trump addressed a mob of his supporters before they launched a deadly riot on Congress in an attempt to overturn the outcome of the last election.
