NamWater has announced planned water supply interruptions for Walvis Bay from 5 to 7 November 2024, due to final work on the Collector 2–Collector 1 pipeline upgrade. The project aims to enhance long-term water reliability in the region. During this period, water flows will be restricted, especially on Fehlmann, N, and E supply lines, with limited water from the Swartbank source. Increased flow from Dorop South will help, but residents may still experience low water pressure. NamWater encourages residents to conserve water during the outage and apologizes for the temporary inconvenience.
