Activists to Submit Final Petition on /Khomanin Land Issues

Shaun Gariseb announced plans to submit a petition addressing landlessness, ancestral land dispossession, and restrictive resettlement policies affecting the /Khomanin community. Titled “The Final Petition,” Gariseb emphasized that, after years of submitting petitions, this would be the last, as the community now intends to pursue alternative paths for justice. The petition will be presented to the Speaker of Parliament and other senior government officials.

The activists plan on marching this morning at 9am from Dan Viljoen checkpoint to Windhoek’s Zoo Park.
