Local Youth Shine at Model UN Conference

Background

 

The 12th annual Model United Nations Namibia Conference concluded with high school learners recognized for their outstanding contributions on issues of gender equality and empowerment. Delegates from 16 schools participated, with awards for Best Delegation going to Hage Geingob High School and Windhoek International School, while speakers were praised for their display of diplomacy. British High Commissioner Charles Moore applauded the youth for their insights, expressing hope for a bright future.
