SADC to Observe Namibia’s 2024 Elections

The Southern African Development Community has confirmed its Electoral Observation Mission for Namibia’s upcoming Presidential and National Assembly Elections on November 27. The SEOM will oversee the elections to ensure they adhere to democratic principles of fairness, transparency, and credibility. The mission will begin its work with refresher training for observers, starting November 15, and will include key assessments of Namibia’s political and security environments, the legal framework, and the preparedness of the Electoral Commission of Namibia.
