In S.A, the In S.A, The Department of Water and Sanitation Deputy Minister, Sello Seitlholo, is encouraging municipalities to urgently address water losses due to illegal connections and ageing infrastructure. Between 37-percent and 47-percent of water in South Africa is lost due to non-revenue water, which includes water lost to leaks and illegal connections. Seitlholo says the department will continue to support municipalities to ensure sustainable water supply to communities:
