Electoral Commission Outlines Process for Special Voting Results Verification

The Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) has clarified the process for managing and verifying results from the Special Voting held on November 13, 2024. Sensitive election materials from Namibian Diplomatic Missions and local polling stations will be securely stored until November 27, when they will be collated with election day results. Returning Officers will verify and validate preliminary results to ensure transparency, with corrections made before the final results are posted. The ECN also confirmed that political parties and the public will have access to real-time results via the Election Results Management Website.
