The Legal Assistance Centre , supported by the European Union, has launched a five-day paralegal training programme aimed at empowering San communities in the country. It has kicked off in Omaheke’s Gobabis and Vergenoeg, the initiative seeks to enhance legal capacity and promote community safety. Focused on community policing strategies, the training will draw from the successful experiences of the Vergenoeg San community, strengthening access to justice for marginalized groups in Namibia.
