The SADC Electoral Observation Mission to Namibia’s Presidential and National Assembly elections has been officially launched in Windhoek. Addressing the ceremony, Hon. Anne Semamba Makinda, the SEOM Head, highlighted the mission’s commitment to promoting democratic principles and peaceful elections. Observers from eight SADC member states will be deployed across Namibia’s 14 regions to monitor the November 27 polls. The mission will evaluate the process against SADC’s revised electoral principles and guidelines.
