Pressure mounts in India to probe Adani group

Indian opposition leaders are demanding the government probe the Adani group after the US charged billionaire Gautam Adani with orchestrating a $250 million bribery scheme. Adani is one of the world’s richest men and is known for his close ties with India’s prime minister Narendra Modi. The government is yet to comment on the controversy. Adani Group denies the allegations and says they are “baseless”. As Neha Poonia reports:
