Nam Elections 2024
today26 November, 2024
As Namibia approaches its 27 November elections, the ECN has called for adherence to electoral guidelines as the campaign period officially ends at midnight tonight. ECN CEO Petrus Shaama emphasized that no rallies, public gatherings, or promotional materials are permitted within 500 meters of polling stations starting 26 November. Shaama urged political leaders to encourage their supporters to respect the rules, ensuring a smooth transition to Election Day. He also appealed to citizens to exercise their democratic right, promising accessible polling for all, including those in remote areas, to make their “Voice in the Box” heard.
