South African Police arrested over 13-thousand in Operation Shanela in the past week

  The South African Police Service arrested 13-thousand-and-20 suspects in Operation Shanela in the past week. Police spokesperson Amanda van Wyk says the arrests include two-thousand-and-52 for serious crimes, 140 for murder, 99 firearms were seized and one-thousand-180 rounds of ammunition confiscated.
