Russia vetoes Security Council resolution on Sudan

  Russia has vetoed a resolution in the United Nations Security Council on Monday on protection of civilians in Sudan. The United Kingdom has labelled this move by Russia, a permanent member of the council, an "enemy of peace". Jody Jacobs reports from the United Nations in New York.

  S.A's AfriForum is preparing legal action to ensure this year's matric results are published on media platforms after the Information Regulator banned their release. A similar 2022 case saw AfriForum win against the Department of Basic Education, securing publication of the results. Kremlin responds angrily to US-Ukraine missile policy change

  Moscow has warned the United States that allowing Ukraine to use long-range missiles to strike Russian territory will prompt a "radical change" in the conflict.   Dams countrywide collectively hold over 1,556 million cubic meters, with only 21.178 million cubic meters available for use.
