Legal Challenge Over Board Removal at National Youth Council

A legal letter has been sent to the Minister of Sports, Youth, and National Services, Agnes Tjongarero, concerning the removal of several board members from the National Youth Council. The affected members argue that the decision is unlawful, citing violations of the National Youth Council Act of 2009 and the Public Enterprises Governance Act of 2019. They demand immediate reinstatement or an assurance that the decision will not be enforced pending a review. The letter threatens legal action if the matter is not addressed by December 14.
