Digital expert Nrupesh Soni has shed light on the Telecom Namibia data breach, which he says actually occured late November and now has exposed sensitive customer information, including personal details, banking data, and contracts. The data was leaked after Telecom reportedly ignored ransom demands. Soni cautions that the breach poses significant risks.

Local media reports reveal that a cyberattack on Telecom Namibia has led to the leak of personal documents belonging to prominent figures, including NBC Board Chairperson Lazarus Jacobs, NIPDB CEO Nangula Uaandja, and activist Michael Amushelelo, on social media.
