In South Africa, the DA says despite receiving a staggering 76-billion-rand bailout from the government, Eskom posted a pre-tax loss of 25-billion-rand, which ballooned to 55-billion-rand after tax. The party says the audit report, which notes that material uncertainty relating to the power utility’s ability to continue as a going concern, is of particular concern.
