Ministry Of Environment Launches Project to Address Human-Wildlife Conflict

The Environment, Forestry and Tourism ministry is gearing up to implement a groundbreaking initiative aimed at reducing human-wildlife conflict and tackling wildlife crime across three critical landscapes in Namibia. The Integrated Approach to Proactive Management of Human-Wildlife Conflict and Wildlife Crime Project is expected to directly benefit 4,520 individuals including 2,300 men and 2,220 women while indirectly impacting an additional 18,100 people inclusive of 7,900 men and 10,200 women.
