Omusati Education Director Orders Illegal Private Schools to Halt Operations

Omusati Education Director Paulus Kashiimbi has instructed nine private schools in the region to cease operations immediately due to non-compliance with registration requirements. In a letter dated November 26 last year, Kashiimbi referenced sections of the Education Act of 2020, which prohibit the operation of satellite schools or part-time centers that are not fully registered under the Basic Education Act. He emphasized that these schools are violating the act by offering unapproved education phases or operating illegally.
